Dr. Jeannine Sandstrom is considered a pioneer in the executive coaching industry and has been instrumental in its development as a profession.  A highly experienced executive coach with years of experience across industries, Jeannine has a proven record in leadership development and supporting clients in creating solutions to the top issues concerning executives today.

Jeannine’s doctorate is in Human Resource Development with Masters degrees in Business Administration and Adult Learning, from Texas A & M University.  She holds certifications as a Master Certified Coach (International Coach Federation – ICF), Corporate Business Coach and Professional in Human Resources. She has experience with multiple 360° assessments and is certified in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Winslow Personality Profile, DiSC, The Birkman System, and the Legacy Leadership® Competency Inventory (LLCI).

Dr. Sandstrom is the founder and CEO of CoachWorks® International, Inc. a leader in the arena of executive development and leadership coaching.  Prior to starting her own coaching business, Jeannine founded and led three national consulting companies focusing on leadership development, leaders in crisis, strategic planning and implementation for mergers and acquisitions, and team development.  She co-convened an Executive Coach Summit for the International Coach Federation to distinguish the profession of Executive Coaching. Dr. Sandstrom is a founding board member of Corporate Coach U (CCU), an international executive coach training firm. She co-authored extensive training courses for CCU and co-authored the book “Legacy Leadership:  The Leader’s Guide to Lasting Greatness” and the “Legacy Leadership Application Workbook” both of which have been republished as 2nd Editions in 2017. She has also participated in Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) presentations and had featured articles in the Professional Mentor and Coach Journal, as well as The Wall Street Journal and Fortune Magazine.

Jeannine has authored numerous multi-media leadership development materials which have been utilized by the Department of Agriculture to train adult volunteers across the U.S. Additionally she was part-time faculty at Texas A&M University, East Texas State University, and Anderson University in the departments of marketing, management, English as a Second Language and adult education.  Internationally Dr. Sandstrom has helped lead, or co-facilitate, adult development groups in the U.K., Nepal, Malaysia, Central America and Canada. Her Legacy Leadership development series is in use worldwide and for over 15 years she has been involved in the training or certification of some 300+ professional leadership professionals.

Jeannine has worked with The Prudential, Fidelity Investments, Chase Bank, Anderson Consulting, Puget Sound Energy, American Heart Association, CHRISTUS Health, Accenture, Granite Properties, Rent-A-Center, McAfee, ARCO, Merrill Lynch, Samson Oil, Oracle Corporation, John Deere and Company, private brokerage organizations and numerous entrepreneurial and not-for-profit organizations.  

Sandstrom has served on the (Dallas, TX) Mayor’s Task Force for International Development and on the boards of national professional and industry organizations, is an alumnus of LEADERSHIP DALLAS, past president of the D/FW Chapter of International Association of Career Management Professionals, a charter member of the North Texas Chapter of the International Coach Federation, and a former International Rotarian.
