Clinical Psychology Programs
The degrees offered by PSP provide students destined for careers in clinical psychology with distinctive programs that blend theory and practice. The programs effectively prepare human service professionals for the emerging challenges of Twenty-First Century mental health and provide students with a unique opportunity at the forefront of the rapidly changing field of psychology.

Dean of Clinical Programs
Dr. Gay Teurman, the Dean of Clinical Programs, is an alumnus of PSP. In addition to Dr. Teurman’s role with PSP she serves as a Mental Health Program Coordinator with Sacramento County Behavioral Health Services overseeing the services for our most vulnerable families and youth in our local community. Dr. Teurman has responsibility for developing innovative programming for mental health service providers in the community who treat those families who have the most need for service. She has particular focus on those adults who are leaving high school and transitioning into adulthood or College for the first time with very little or no support from home struggling with mental health issues. Dr. Teurman has also maintained a private practice for the last seven years in addition to her work in public service.
Dr. Teurman is a former Board Member of a local Alcohol and Drug Recovery transition/residential facility where she served as the Chief Financial Officer. She is a member of CAMFT, Sacramento Valley Psychological Association, is an Executive Certified Coach, and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with the Board of Behavioral Science Examiners. Dr Teurman was a Conference creator, facilitator, and presenter at the Statewide School to World Conference in 2007 and 2009. She has also been asked to present at the Statewide California Education Transition Conference regarding transitioning troubled youth.
